What does made to order mean?
Made to order products also referred to as print on demand or cut & sew products. In this case, our designs are printed on fabric, which then gets cut and hand-sewn into the product you ordered. They are one off, made for you when you order them.

Why does Alba Athletic do made to order?
This keeps overhead down, and product options open. Think of this, most companies make hundreds (or thousands) of each product, in each size, and warehouse them until they are ordered. This is very expensive, and increases prices. We have low overhead, hold no inventory and don't have a warehouse. This means we can make as many items as we want without having to pay upfront to make them, or, hold them until they are purchased.

Where are the items made?
We have a manufacturing partner that has 4 factories. Depending where you are, your item will be made in the location closest to you. This minimizes shipping time, and helps lower our environmental impact.

My product doesn't look like the photos?
Due to the nature of made on demand products, some variation will occur between sizes and items will occur. Larger sizes require more fabric than smaller sizes, and thus, is cut slightly different. You may get more of less of an image or pattern depending on your size. Also, due to the fabric and materials your product is made of, it may look slightly different than an other. This can occur if one is smooth and one is rougher, or if one is stretchy and the other is not.
You may also see some slight colour variation from our photos to your physical product. This is usually due to the way your screen displays colours (in the back-lit RGB spectrum) compared to the fabric printing method.
If you feel your item is not acceptable or does not represent the images online, please send us an email with a photo of the product to alba@albaathletic.com.

How does shipping work?
Once you place your order, it gets send to our factory right away. They will co-ordinate the manufacturing of your item(s), which takes between 2-5 days (depending on the items). Once made, the items get packed and sent to you via your selected delivery method. You will receive tracking updates as your items travel their way to you. Shipping can take anywhere between 5-15 business days.

Can you customize an item for me?
Yes we can. We can add your name, country flag, team name, event info, anything you need. We can also design something completely new, and make them just for you. Send us a message at alba@albaathletic.com, and welcome can go over the "Custom" process with you.

How do I return an item?
Because these items are made just for you, we can only accept returns if there is a manufacturing defect (print mistakes, sewing errors, etc). If the item does not resemble the item you ordered, please send a photograph of the item to alba@albaathletic.com and we will remedy the issue right away.

What is the sizing like?
Every item has measurements on the product page. The items vary depending on its use, some fit tighter, some are meant to be relaxed. Make sure to check the size charts when ordering, as you may be a Medium in one, but want a Small or Large in another.

How should I wash my items?
Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
